Protective gear is bought by people who read. Leatt needed an animation that showed exactly how the patented features of the new knee brace protect a rider in a crash, for a US audience researching before purchase.

We built the brace in detail and animated the mechanism in motion, so the hinge, the load paths and the limits are visible in a way no product photo can show.

The video became the most-watched piece of content on Leatt's YouTube channel.

The brief came with CAD and the patent drawings, which is the ideal starting point. Four weeks covered build, mechanism animation, two review rounds with the Leatt engineers and final delivery for YouTube and retail.

When the product has engineering worth explaining, a four-week animation does the selling for years.
